Pass In ReviewThe 8th annual Air Force JROTC Pass-in-Review for TX-20121 to place at the General Benjamin O. Davis Jr. High School Commons.

The Pass-in-Review parade is a longstanding military tradition that began as a way for a newly assigned commander to inspect their troops.  Principal Anthony Watkins served as the reviewing official for the half-hour event where approximately 150 cadets formed to represent the Davis program.

Parents, teachers, and staff viewed the formal procession to observe the cadet’s mastery of military drill and ceremonies. “We’re extremely proud of the skill and dedication of our cadet corps,” said Lieutenant Colonel Porfirio Munoz, the program’s Senior Aerospace Science Instructor.

The mission of Air Force JROTC is to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.  The Air Force JROTC program educates and trains high school students in citizenship, promotes community service, instills personal responsibility, character, self-discipline, and provides instruction in air and space fundamentals.
