October 24th, our own Davis Falcons was provided an extraordinary opportunity to fly with Sean D. Tucker, a world renowned aerobatic pilot who has been inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame and named one of the 25 Living Legends of Flight by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Luphranz is an AB honor-roll student and has also become a member of the National Technical Honor Society and Technology Student Association at Davis High School this year. Luphranz has conducted himself with the utmost amount of confidence, respect and maturity and has been a fine representative of Aldine ISD.

In addition to the Young Eagles Flight, the Houston Aviation Club has sponsored a series of aviation events throughout the year for our students to participate. The first of these events was held Friday at Ellington Field where 15 student were given a special invitation to watch the Wings Over Houston Airshow Practice. Students were hosted by Airport Executives, given exclusive tours, opportunities to interact with pilots and other aviation professionals and were also provided lunch and souvenirs during their experience.

Our relationship with The Houston Aviation Club has been an exceptional boon for our program and these experiences will become valuable assets for our students.

Thank you for your support and for making opportunities like these possible.
