Falcon Players Advance to Bi-District One Act Play

Thursday, March 24th,  the Davis High School Theatre Department competed in the District round of UIl One-Act Play competition held at Eisenhower High School. Our award winning theatre department continued it’s trend with several students receiving acting awards. Remerical Earl (10th grade) and Naquell Turner (9th grade) received honors as part of the “ All Star Cast”.  Journei Rogers (12th grade) earned individual tech crew honors. Out of all 8 District 18 6A schools competing, Davis high school has advanced to the 2nd Round of competition (Bi-District), joining 2 other ALdine schools, Carver and Spring Branch Memorial. The Bi- District contest will be Friday, April 1s, here on our home stage, starting at 2pm. We will be the first show starting at 2pm. We will be competing against Carver, Spring Branch Memorial, Cy-Ridge, Cy-Creek, and Cy-Ranch, with our production of The Cover of Life by R.T. Robinson. Admission is $5.00.
