Benji’s Spot (the new name of the culinary arts cafe) opened for business for the first time this school year on Tuesday, September 16th. Ms. Anderson’s third and fourth-year students managed the opening and did a fantastic job.
Teachers from all over the school attended the opening and were greeted with excellent service and a three-course menu that included; mozzarella sticks, Shrimp Scampi With Ratatouille or chicken alfredo. For dessert, they offered Tiramisu Or Coffee Gelato.
The students performed the roles in the restaurant; including management, waiters and waitresses and cooks. Mrs. Anderson oversaw the students. The teachers helped support the program by showing up in force. Where else can you get a three-course meal for $8.00?
Way to go culinary arts students, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was terrific, and the service was impeccable. We give Benji’s spot five stars out of 5.
