Keeymon White, a senior at Davis High School, is excited to announce his commitment to play football at Stephen F. Austin University. Keeymon, a four year player at Davis Senior High school, was heavily recruited by several colleges, including Northwestern State University in Louisianna, UTSA in San Antonio, Houston Baptist University in Houston, and Prairie View A&M University, Northwest of Houston.
White said he was excited to sign at Stephen F. Austin University and said, “it just feels like home. I loved the community feeling at the university when I visited, and it is close enough to home for my mom to come to watch me play”. Keeymon said, “Coach Carthel made me feel welcome and showed me a lot of love.”
Keeymon said he was committing to SFA during the early commitment period because “it is where I know I want to attend college and play football. It was just a no brainer since they made the offer.” Keeymon indicated he was interested in studying Sports Business while in attendance. He was able to maintain an excellent 3.2 GPA while attending Davis Senior High School.
Keeymon played football all four years while attending Davis High School. He played several positions but found his place as an offensive tackle. He played for three years under Coach James Showers, and for his final year, under the direction of Head Coach Scott Joseph.
Keeya Williams, Keeymon’s mother, is very proud of him. She raised Keeymon as a single parent and takes great pride in this milestone in his life.Keymon was joined by his mother, and grandmother for this milestone in his life.
