Learning Model Change Request Opens February 16 through February 26.
We are offering two options for the 2020-21 school year – At-Home and On-Campus Learning. Our goal is to provide choices for our families, while being responsive to the public health conditions. Families are able to select On-Campus or At-Home Learning from February 16-26 through the commitment form process.
For At-Home Learners who are failing classes or who have a high number of absences, we encourage these students to strongly consider the On-Campus Learning option. We recognize the complexities and barriers that have come with remote learning and invite all of our families to evaluate carefully the decision to change the instructional setting for their child.
Our At-Home Learning students learn remotely five days a week receiving teacher-directed and teacher-supported instruction through a blend of synchronous and asynchronous delivery methods. Students and teachers use Schoology, our Learning Management System. In this remote environment, teachers use standards-based curriculum, resources and assignments creating an environment that more closely resembles a classroom experience.
If your preference changes, we have a process in place to update your selection. Please note Families will ALWAYS have the option to move from the On-Campus Learning option to At-Home Learning. Students wishing to move from the At-Home Learning to the On-Campus Learning option or vice-versa will need to make this selection between Tuesday, February 16 to Friday, February 26, for schedules and transportation to be ready and available on Tuesday, March 23, the first day of the 4th 9 weeks. If you have any questions, please contact your campus administrator.
To begin the process of changing your learning option, please fill out the form below. If there are any questions, a staff member from the campus will reach out.
